Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-430pm (hybrid)
Nights, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed for on-call and other support activities
Job Summary:
As an Application Analyst II at Endeavor Health, you will be responsible for assisting in specific areas of IT including full life cycle management, from analysis and design to deployment and maintenance of technology solutions and platforms. In addition, you will contribute toward identifying opportunities with the goal of reducing manual efforts, supporting the growth of the organization, promoting patient and user experience, and helping create innovative solutions with operations. You will help foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders, promote the consistent use of available tools, techniques, workflows, and platforms, and perform administrative tasks as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will be expected to remain updated on the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for the adoption of industry best practices.
What you will do:
Design, document, implement and test software/application solutions. Act as the lead builder and often facilitate meetings with operations to communicate technical options that involve the use of Ambulatory and Population Health workflows, reporting tools, and decision support. Work closely with the Quality operational team, EDW, and Data Analytics teams to assist with innovative solutions for workflow issues and optimizations to improve quality of care for our patients while balancing regulatory requirements for documentation and reporting.
Monitor and manage the timely resolution/closure of assigned tickets.
Collaborate with vendors on issues/upgrades for assigned portfolio.
Lead small to medium sized projects following PMO defined processes.
Lead the development and maintenance of application documentation/build standards. Review and update Epic registries to stay aligned with organizational requirements, ensure downstream reporting is consuming the data accurately, and understand how registry data impacts workflows.
Prepare reports and presentations on project/team activities and results as requested.
Collaborate with stakeholders such as those within the Ambulatory, Quality, and Clinically Integrated Network operational areas to understand business requirements/priorities and translate/document them into build specifications.
Recommend, contribute and lead process improvement efforts
Serve as a resource for other team members including mentoring junior team members
What you will need:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Certification: Epic Care Ambulatory; Epic Healthy Planet (obtain within 90 days of hire)
Experience: Three (3) or more years of experience relevant to assigned portfolio in a healthcare setting or related industries
Unique or Preferred Skills:
Able to communicate and translate complex technical terms into understandable simple terms for all customer groups.
Must be able to work independently and in a team setting, possess excellent verbal, written, customer service and project management skills.
Serves as key point person for technical and operation leadership for problem resolution and project management.
Able to mentor and educate junior team members
Utilizes effective analytical and troubleshooting skills with minimum assistance.
Continually seeks to utilized technology to improve workflows/systems and procedures/procedures.
Ability to resolve complex problems where precedent may not exist
Embraces a culture of continuous improvement
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
